Do whatever your book says but try it cautiously don't bend it too much to give it a shape. I did same thing with my adenium and broke a stem of it 😉🙂

This weekend I found a #bonsai book and now all I wanna do is try and bonsai something 😂 so off I went and bought a bonsai starter kit and this #camellia (picked it for its name 🤭) hopefully it works?! I’m gonna trim it and pot it up tonight. On my bedroom floor because it gets dark so early now (and I’m a real adult). At least I’ll have all night to perfect it. I also want to make it a #fairygarden. So many aspirations from this weekend 😂🌱 #dreams #goals #bonsai-camellia #beginner
