Hosta 'White Feather'

Well it's still not white but it's a better colour than last year! #foliagefriday

I do this year yes @jacaranda had 3 in different spots last year and it really didn't like the sun!

I’ve been reading lots of comments about it on line and they all say that full shade is the only place for this variety. I hope yours continues to do well as it’s a lovely plant. 💚

Still not white!

It could change as the leaves age. Or maybe you have a yellow feather. Either way it looks great.

Well it's not white 🤔

It is for a hosta lol. I planted 3? of these and I'm wondering if I can expect anything from them at all this year. They seem so weak and frail.

I planted 3 bare roots of these and they're all up and looking good....but not white @emch

If they have close to zero direct sun, @allhop74 you have the best chance of seeing white foliage

@emch two are in full shade, one in dappled so fingers crossed

Well it's been a while but I'm finally back. 2 melanomas removed, one brain tumour destroyed, two kidney angiomyolipomas diagnosed and monitored and one malignant ovarian tumour removed. All in the space of 6 months!!!! It's been a roller coaster ride, but I'm back, new start, new outlook on life, new patch of garden and three of these new beauties to plant. Life is good 😊
