I love them and I just scatter the seeds so that I get more! They are already coming through this season! Brilliant!

My lupins are stunning in the summer! Leaves are coming in nicely. Slugs do love them @vespa, and they did some amount of damage to mine last year, so I was surprised that they're thriving this year. I'll be evicting any I find with force!

👏🏼👏🏼 definitely agree - whilst I like a number of different style plants, cottage perennials are my favourite. Coincidently, firecracker is on my wants list for a while 😊

@richard.spicer.7906 Firecracker is a great contrast plant with it's bright yellow flowers. It does multiply quite quickly so I have thrown a lot over the embankment but well worth it's place in anyone's garden.

@beckers1974 Yes I had no slug problem last year but had a look at this very plant yesterday and it's about 6"high but the slugs have already been at it. I had a good clear up round about but couldn't find the culprit so will put some deterrent round it to try & save it

I hope my hedgehogs have lots of babies this year - they would make short work of the little devils - although, they've been favouring the food I put out for them in recent years!
