Your eyes do not deceive you, this Lupin is in bud in April. Last year I gave it less than a 20% chance of surviving a massive attack by slugs. I don't even remember what colour it will be.

Mine have been struck by lupin aphid already. They usually have the decency to wait until it's nearly finished flowering. :(

@gardengimp I'm sure you know this already but if you do a very diluted mix of fairy washing up liquid & water then spray your lupins leave for a woman mins ish then rinse off do this first thing or last off , hopeful this might help Nile it in the butt till mid summer 😜
