6 Jul 2018 • This is to make up for my last post 😉💚
Gorgeous Jacqueline @awomanonabike 😍😘
Lovely 💚💚💚
Thank you. It really is a giant, so great for the back of a border, though I have a friend who has one by his front door @jadojado29 @plants @Jasonsparkes1

This was positively glowing in the evening sun.☀️☀️
Oh and thanks for sending it our way @justin It has finally arrived 😉👏🏻
Oh it's my pleasure 💁🏻♂️ sorry it's a bit late 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Ooh that's gorgeous! 💚💚💚
Better late than never. Looks like it might be here to stay for a while too 😊 @justin
Thanks Rachel. I'd never even seen one until I moved here & it was in the garden. It's a fabulous plant @rachelbrooks
This is another one Suzanne that doesn't need much sun. Mine is on the north side of a low wall with a high wall to the south west & it does fine @suzyw
And it grows in shade! How fab! 👍🏼👍🏼
Maybe it got eaten Suzanne? Mine isn't in the best draining soil at all @suzyw
It's really tall & doesn't need staking either. What's not to love? 😉 @rachelbrooks
Perfick! 👍🏼👏🏼
This year's been much better for my garden too re slugs. A long dry spell just when all those vulnerable leaves were emerging made a huge difference 😊😊 @suzyw
Specially for you Sarah. No raindrops though as no rain! @sieveheadsarah #cephalaria-gigantea
It’s fabulous Jacqueline, I’ve just planted another one out that was in a pot, this time on the shadier side of the garden 👍🏼😍 thanks for tagging me 😀
Love these. I have got one that Carol gave me, i think it must be in the wrong place. It grows like crazy but I’ve never had any flowers! Must find it a new spot...
You’re welcome Sarah. As soon as I realised it was starting to flower I had to show you. I have two as well, the original which is a bit shaded and this one @sieveheadsarah
They don’t seem to need much in the way of tlc but I think a bit of sun seems to encourage them to flower 🌼 @rachelbrooks
I got some seeds from a slightly different one (apparently) last Autumn, they’re growing well and the leaves do look a little different, it’s this one https://dorsetperennials.co.uk/product/cephalaria-dipsacoides/ I’m not sure if I have already told you this 🤣😉 I’m hoping the one I just planted out will flower a little after my other one 🤔🤔
That’s interesting Sarah and no you haven’t! I look forward to seeing it 🌼 @sieveheadsarah
I think that’s the trouble, mine doesn’t get enough! It’s joined the long list of jobs for the weekend! 🙂
Just checked and RHS reckons it can tolerate partial shade 🤔 @rachelbrooks
