Help me identify this plant please #plantid
happycanuck
It looks like cephalaria but it's hard to tell by this pic. Does it has small blackish buds?
SylviaDavies
@happycanuck not yet. If I remember rightly, the flower last year was a pale green?
happycanuck
Cephalaria is usually a pale yellow flower
SylviaDavies
Thank you @happycanuck . I think you are right! 😃 thank you
I love this! I split it this spring so out hadn't grown as tall this year thank goodness! I think the birds may be eating the petals though, or something is!
Haven't seen this one in this colour before love it 💛💛
Does it come in other colours? @nessas
Beautiful photo 💛
My mistake Sylvia didn't read what plant it was thought it was a scabious 😆😂😂
This is seriously tall @gjones @nessas! Last year it was about 8ft tall!
Wowzers that humongous 💛
The foliage on these are a lot nicer than the scabious 💛
Yep it took me a while, but now I love this too and have one in the garden. Such an unusual colour xx
@columbiariver it's a pale lime yellow. This year after splitting it's only about 6ft. The birds kept trying to land on the long flower stems and snapping them off last year.
@clipperty does yours grow really tall too? It's a lovely colour isn't it!
