29 Sep 2019 • Technical problems (someone drove into and set fire to our telegraph pole and we have a lousy mobile signal) and a long bike ride mean posting on here has been impossible but here is picture of some chicory growing wild by the side of the cycle path by the Tyne near Newcastle 💙

That blue is stunning 💙💙

Omg, how long will it be before it's fixed? Maybe they will replace it with the most up to date state of the art equipment 👍🏻

Thanks Jane. They were everywhere along the cycle path though not many flowers left. They must have looked amazing when in full flower 😍💙 @pelly

I wish Vivien🤣🤣🤣 Road was closed yesterday so they could put up a new telegraph pole but no sign of it yet 🙄😡 @sadieberg

Oh I bet 💙💙
I was surprised to see this in flower today, growing on the edge of the Thames near Oxford. Turns out it’s summer down south 😎☀️
What a lovely plant Jacqueline….. must try to find some🤩
What a beautiful colour 💙💜💙
😂😂😂 … definitely Jacqueline 🥵🥵
It’s fabulous isn’t it David. It often grows on sunny paths and roadsides so I’m sure you will spot some @Davidward
It’s a very pure colour. Similar to harebells but more of it! @pelly
Summer has been a long time coming in Cumbria this year…a real north-south divide 😂 @juliesgarden
Bonkers weather that’s for sure !!
