This is so sad. My yew is dying. The only explanation that I can come up with is that it has (hopefully inadvertently) been sprayed by herbicide by the farmer, as it is just at the corner of our boundary with a field 😢 I’ve now cut out most of the obviously dead bits and can only hope it will recover 🤞
Oh 😢
Liked but not liking. I hope it recovers 😢
Oh no, now awful 😓😓😓😓so sorry
Oh no - doesn’t look like wood is rotting- so you’re probably right - let’s hope 🤞🏻
Oh no I bet your right mention it to him incase he sprays so near again 😢🤞
No point. It was probably weeks if not months ago and it will have been a contractor. The farmer spends most of his life in Spain... 😎 @mich
😔
Oh dear, that’s not good 😢 I hope it recovers with plenty of tlc 🤞😘
There is actually a point, his contractor's pretty much killed it. If you were sprayed would you feel assaulted by chemicals.

15 May 2019 • Doesn’t the new growth on a #yew look just wonderful 💚
It certainly does 😊💚💚💚
Yes. Yes it does 😊
It sure does.....
I love the fresh green of new growth
Looks great 👍
My poor #yew I’m certain that the farmer sprayed it...It was about 5’ tall. I have cut it back, dug it out from where it was (next to his field) and replanted it. There is a teeny bit of green 🤞🤞🤞
☹☹☹ I do hope it recovers.
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thank you, so do I Charlotte 🙁@charlotte
Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
Must have been tough (to say the least) digging that out. Hope it recovers.
I broke my big fork! Thank you, I hope so too 😃 @novicegardenlover
