Oh poor you Julie 😥. I know it takes them several (7?) years to flower. The only advice I have is, don't feed it. Mine are all in pretty poor soil & I remember reading somewhere about not feeding them 😶 @juliesgarden

@awomanonabike I have my wisteria in a pot.. It had flowers on it when I bought it.. I did put blood n bone feed in the pot before I planted it (not a lot) someone else told me they like poor soil.. Think my wisteria is going to be like your ceanothus.. Fingers crossed I don't have to accept it isn't going to take just yet 🤔🙏

Noooo Diane! If you are further south than me and in a reasonably protected spot, then I'd say just hang on in there. Plant an annual climber to keep some interest while you're waiting... 😉😊 @Di007

Not the most beautiful photo of a wisteria but today was wisteria pruning day - at least it was in my garden. Pointy buds snipped back to 2-3 but round ones left as they are the flower buds. No feed needed - feed just encourages lots of leaves #wisteria #wisteria-pruning

I hope they show up in the photo I was at the top of a ladder & didn't want to lean back... @Jasonsparkes1
