Help me identify this plant please. What is growing with my oak tree? #plantid

Davidward
Looks like it could be Purple Toadflax Amelia

bamels
That looks like a distinct possibility. I look forward to seeing it bloom. I'm unsure how it got there as I don't recall buying toadflax seeds!

Davidward
It readily self seeds Amelia. I have several in the garden that found there own way here, and what a great name!

They must have blown in from a neighbouring garden. No one either side of me has flowers, but possibly behind.
