I'm working on a pond garden. Are these hard to grow or finicky?

Absolutely easy Aimee. They are in my pond about 15 years. No special care from my side. I just remove dead flowers and leaves to not decay in the water. I have them at a depth of abaut 60cm which is enough in my region to not freeze in the winter and can stay in the pond for a whole year. Just if you don't want to let them cover your pond completely, is good to check and eventually reduce it every three, four years. @Katalin
