The common elder is but not sure if the same applies to the ornamental one. The common elder berries are an acquired taste. 😅 I seem to remember they taste slightly like avocado.

@ublaszko hmm I think I’m still unclear and won’t risk it, since another kind are poisonous 🤔😕😱 I have plenty of other edible things to keep me going :)
