Help me identify this plant - I know it's a grape hyacinth but a generic variety doesn't appear when I search...

It's muscari species.

Thanks @MelanieAt - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a generic entry in the plant database for grape hyacinth or muscari.

Is it perhaps Muscari armeniacum? I think this is the common one, but I might be wrong.

I think you might be right @richard.spicer.7906 - I've got those written up in my notebook but can't remember exactly where I planted them in the rush to get everything done before winter! 😄

Me too - I was still planting right up to the end of November, luckily finished on the last day and then it snowed! I think it was a sign 😂 @bigemrg
