Developing my knowledge all the time. I love growing plants: barely any space on my windowsills, nor on my patio as it's full of pots. #renting.

These were blown about by the wind but love the fact the flowers themselves are still upright!! 😂 #muscari #grapehyacinth 19/03/19

The only way I could get a decent photo of this was to manhandle it! #muscari #grapehyacinth 06/03/19

Thanks. Need to get my greenhouse back up and rearrange my pots so they look better. All a bit ramshackle at the moment! 😂 @ublaszko

#grapehyacinth #muscari These were bought flowering two years ago. They only produced leaves last year but delighted to see them producing flowers this year. @ublaszko Are these armenicum do you think? 23/02/19

I think they might be. Muscari armenicum leaves are sort of grassy green and glossy. Muscari aucheri leaves are more matt and greyish green. 👍👍

Haha! 👍👍 I might have remembered that you bought them in Wilko (and the mixed ones which I went on to buy as well) 😂😂

#advice. Anyone any idea why my #muscari #grapehyacinth have not developed more than this?

@moore.794 @jennlamaye I planted them last spring I think. I think I bought them already in a pot flowering and put in this container. It would have had all 'summer!' Sun.

Since you bought it in flower they were probably forced bulbs. They often don't come back and if they do they're never as good as the ones that have not been forced. ☺

Ok thanks😔 @ublaszko I’ll buy some bulbs to plant in autumn this year then!! 🙂

You can buy a new pack of bulbs but keep these as well, so you can compare them next spring. 👍👍
