#grapehyacinth #muscari These were bought flowering two years ago. They only produced leaves last year but delighted to see them producing flowers this year. @ublaszko Are these armenicum do you think? 23/02/19
I think they might be. Muscari armenicum leaves are sort of grassy green and glossy. Muscari aucheri leaves are more matt and greyish green. 👍👍
I found the label just now!! Yes they are indeed!! 😊 @ublaszko
Haha! 👍👍 I might have remembered that you bought them in Wilko (and the mixed ones which I went on to buy as well) 😂😂

#advice. Anyone any idea why my #muscari #grapehyacinth have not developed more than this?
Something is eating it? @moore.794 @richard.spicer.7906 might know...
how long in pot? bulbs need to grow to produce flower. did it get enough sun & fertilizerlast year?
@moore.794 @jennlamaye I planted them last spring I think. I think I bought them already in a pot flowering and put in this container. It would have had all 'summer!' Sun.
have to wait for next year.
@moore.794 ok thanks. Fingers crossed they'll do that!
Since you bought it in flower they were probably forced bulbs. They often don't come back and if they do they're never as good as the ones that have not been forced. ☺
Ok thanks😔 @ublaszko I’ll buy some bulbs to plant in autumn this year then!! 🙂
You can buy a new pack of bulbs but keep these as well, so you can compare them next spring. 👍👍
