Haven’t been on for a week so just saw the notification.

In Queensland it’s a Category 3 weed: “Must not be distributed or disposed. This means it must not be released into the environment unless the distribution or disposal is authorised in a regulation or under a permit.” https://weeds.brisbane.qld.gov.au/weeds/water-lettuce #weed

Also a weed in some other states.
