#advice please! First year of growing #potatoes 🥔 through the summer I've been digging as required, and about a month ago cut the dying stalks back.. how long can I leave them in the ground? Should I dig them all now? So I'm not feeding the worms 🐛? And do I dry them before bagging them? Not sure how in this weather 😂 @linfoster @jilly and any other veg maestros out there 😊

Thank you @linfoster these are for eating now... so I'll gradually dig up and dry in the greenhouse and bag after inspecting! I've washed these but I won't need to before I bag will I?

Thank you so much! @linfoster Think I'm going to be peeling, mashing, roasting, boiling and chipping potatoes all winter 😂

I agree with @linfoster the tatties will be ok in the soil for a month or so but the longer they are left more likely get slug 🐌 damage xx

Thank you both for your advice @linfoster and @jilly I've just caught up on GW and realised it was potato advice week 😂 but yours was much more comprehensive 😊😊
