@rbetts25 how do you know for sure when the berries are ripe? In my experience, they blacken long before they Are ripe, but when they go ripe, there is no clear giveaway of their ripeness I have noticed save that they become very soft. Do you know any other ways to check for ripeness? I dont want to pull the berries of early, but neither do I want them to go to the birds.
