In May 2018, I had an amazing vacation in Tuscany, Italy, with some family members. While there, I had the most delicious nespole (loquat) I have ever had. I brought back four seeds with me and got them all to propagate. I gave three away as gifts to family on the trip and kept the fourth for myself. It has grown wonderfully in the last 1.5 years. I don't know if it will ever bear fruit, but it is definitely sentimental to me. #loquat #nespole #eriobotrya #zone7a #fruittree #organic
Mum and dad have a mature one. Too tall to pick fruit so the bats and possums eat them. They should have kept it short. Amazing that you could take seeds from one country to another. No such luck here. Everything goes thru bio security.
