Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg

Hey guys. Any idea what this stuff is? I just noticed it earlier today and jts like a white fuzzy substance. Is it coming from my plant?? #whatisthis #whitefuzz

Do u see any actual white bugs? If so could be mealy bugs they are white and look like fuzz or it could be just regular spider webs or like a spider web nest. I noticed it looked a little webby when zoomed in. I don't see any spider mites so maybe not those although they are very small. Hmm I would.just clean it with some rubbing alcohol or treat it with peroxide and see if that does the trick. I think if I remember correctly mealies cant stand moisture so u can rinse the plant off with water

@heatherdirtyhands I didnt see any bugs. At least none that were moving. I will clean it ASAP. I did see the white fuzz on one of my other plants too, but it wasnt nearly as much as this one had. I also noticed this one had sticky fluids coming from under the leaves. Almost like a tree sap.

Mealy bugs excrete a sticky substance called honeydew apparently. Look it up. They are gross lol. And can spread so get rid of them and quarantine those plants! Asap

Possibly Echeveria Silver queen but not 100% sure

My gma called it a ice plant. And they are my favorite! Had them 30 yrs til a bad winter and severe frost killed all of them.
