Lilium (Asiatic)

Help me identify this plant. Been waiting ages to see the buds but now some creature has nibbled the 1st one🙄 I've brought it inside for now. Anyone recognise it please? I'm sure I planted the bulbs a cpl of years ago. PlantID

Yes Lily they will need to be outside. It will be Lily Beetle so best pick them off when you see them as they lay eggs and eat the leaves. I pick off and drown them 😱

I’m fastidious Denise. I go out every day and remove as I have a lot of Lily’s in the garden including some giant ones. I like the leaves as well as the blooms so out picking them off and sending them damn Red bugs on another journey!

I found 3 lily beetles today! Needless to say they are no more 👊😃

They move so quick . Very satisfying when you get them😀
