Love growing my own produce and experimenting with unusual varieties. I share my garden with hubby and the fur babies.

For some reason this tagged as a Himalayan honeysuckle and I cannot change it 😕. However, I learnt an interesting fact about this Ginka tree from a fellow garden tagger. It is the only species in it's division still living. The rest are extinct and found only in Chinese fossils. In my mind that makes it a living dinosaur tree - how cool is that!😁

Just moved house and I'm discovering lots of unidentified plants in my new garden which I'm hoping garden tagged will be able to help me with. The first is this tree with beautiful marbled bark. Any ideas?

This monster self seeded in my compost bin so I let it grow and today I picked this from it. It appears to be some kind of orange fleshed winter squash but the only winter squash I've ever grown in this bit of land are butternut and spaghetti squash so no idea where it's come from. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?
