So exciting. My first #fuchsia bloom has opened. Probably late in the season but love the way it looks AND proof I can keep a plant alive. #urbangarden #balcony
Don't worry about your late bloomer fuchsia 😉 Mine hasn't even got buds yet. This year's winter lasted so long everything comes on later than it's supposed to. Also, I seem to recall shrubby fuchsias start flowering later than tender fuchsias but they go on well into October, even November. I'm sure my fuchsia was still in flower in November last year. Love it for the autumn colour 😍
It makes a difference to have some colour in October/November as the garden starts to look a bit dreary. You need to get yourself some hellebores for winter colour as February can go on for ages! Honestly, it feels like it lasts twice as long as the other months 😂😂 I wish I was more prepared last year for winter months but a newbie that I am I only had spring and summer plants in my garden 😅😥

Ah that’s perfect. Guess I could have Googled that. :) The color is gorgeous and should make for a nice shift into the grab winter. Thanks @ublaszko
