Thanks @latebloomer seems a shame to lop the top off it....but it probably wing produce great fruit and take years to discover that anyway!! Best to graft for dwarfing it and get nice fruits in 2-3 years (I hope!) 😀😀 @latebloomer
Close up of wedge graft with graft paste and tape.....now to wait 4 weeks....😃

You have some amazing exotic plants Nicko👍 How has this mango graft got on?
@jeatacake thanks Jeff! That graft failed! Have about 15 seedlings waiting to try further grafting over summer. Will post when I do them! 😃😃
@drnicko what a shame, but for me, it seemed extremely ambitious. Good luck with further attempts. I will be very interested to see how it goes, as well as looking in at your other specimens in your incredible collection! ☺👌
@jeatacake I'm trying to move house for bigger garden! But with Brexit coming up there's no movement in case prices drop! But then hopefully can get my tissue culturing back on track and venturing into more exciting rare tropicals! I'll put up my grafted trees I'm already growing, which are doing nicely in the polytunnel. 👍😎
Have you thought about buying Kew Gardens? 😉 Joking aside, it sounds like you already have a collection well worthy of public display. I'm mightily impressed 👍👍
@jeatacake the guy in the post office today wanted to come up and see my garden!!
Now why does that not surprise me!😀
