First of this season's pokers, looking great. These are last year's babies taken off a huge parent plant. The mother's pokers were six feet tall last year!!

I've just got a couple starting to come through myself. Seems a bit early this year, I'm sure it wasn't till July that mine flowered last year, although it has been quite mild this spring. 🤔

The baby plants which are in pots have flowered earlier than the mother plant in the front garden. They're much taller already and in full colour. The mother is having snail problems who are munching the stalks on their way up!! Little blighters😠
