It smells its best on warm sunny days but you can definitely smell it on dull days too, although not so much on wet or cold days! 😀

@bigemrg okay thank you, maybe as it is still new to our garden it needs to settle. I've put it near path so hoping next year will be better.

The one in my neighbour's garden usually has hundreds of flowers and is about seven feet tall and four feet across so I suspect that helps the fragrance hang around! 😀
