Walking around the garden and I saw these flower buds, the smell from these mahonia flowers will be delicious

Help me identify this plant #help #identify I think this might be a mahonia repens. I only found it in the garden this year. First time in a few years it has flowered. Smells beautiful xxx

Definitely a Mahonia Emma might be aquifolium though 😊

Don't get me started on the RHS website .. it does have some really good content but it's a struggle to get to where you want to be ! If you can post a pic of the whole plant we can be more sure they all have slightly different habits 👏xx
