Rheum Rhabarbarum

My dad divided his rhubarb and gave me one. I can’t wait to see it grow. I haven’t added anything yet but it is in a veg bed. I’m hoping to add 2x bags of manure in spring, maybe before and either re-lifting and digging manure in or put over as mulch. I can’t decide what to do for the best. I’m leaving it uncovered now and covering in Jan or early next year as recommended to produce early crop. Mmmm hope it succeeds. My first ever rhubarb.

@ukgardentags can you please advise why my photo has disappeared? I’ve cleared cache and re-uploaded app but it still persists. It’s quite annoying if I need to delete this and reupload image. No other image based app does this.
