I had to rescue my water lily today (someone, possibly a bird, had knocked it down from the upturned pot it is supposed to stand on while growing), and the underside of all its leaves are covered by these gel “worms”. They don’t move, and it doesn’t seem to be anything in them. Can anyone tell me what they are, please?
@sieveheadsarah thank you Sarah, I kind of hoped they were, but I thought the dots were simply leaf texture magnified by the gel. I like my water snails, so they are welcome to multiply.

I think it’s water snail eggs, you can just see the little dark dots in the gel 👍🏼
