A baby growing from my red moon cactus. I’m in love with the ability for this plant to give so many babies.

This may be overkill but the more the bloom opens the better it looks haha

@demeterstouch I would say that when first owning it might take some time for them to do it because it’s first summer was less than productive but I got a gritty mix soil and fertilized this summer and she has been so happy!

@andiegail2002 if you have a moon cactus do not fret! With good light and drainage usually these babies can bloom easily!

@erichbubig maybe I don’t have it in the right light. It may need more.

@andiegail2002 another recommendation is to use a succulent fertilizer with water once a month. I use a 5-10-5 ratio during spring to summer and find success
