Yet more freaky foxglove goings on. It's now growing giant trumpets, about three times normal size at the end of flowering stems. Any further down the stem appear to be normal size. Occasionally, like the first one, they open out looking like they've exploded. Anybody else had this? It would be nice if I'd discovered a new subspecies @gardengirlla but I doubt it! I used horse manure to prepare this bed, but I've since heard reports of traces of weed killer being found in it, my rose is showing thin deformed leaves and small ragged flowers. 🤔😫 who knows eh?
