My #birdofparadise just doesn't want to grow big. I don't get it. I want it to get tall! Even out side in the summer maybe it needs a bigger pot? Idk. Ideas?

I just read that a plant approximately 3-4' will be happy in a 10" pot. It's hard to tell in the picture, but is the pot too big? Being rootbound promotes blooms.

I think the pot is about that size. I'll double check tomorrow. I may pull it out and check the roots too. I highly doubt it would ever bloom where I live. I don't think they do here. @KariSamuel

When I get home I'll take a picture of it k but it has like 5 leaves one on the way and is a couple feet tall approx. Its not huge huge @apomwo

I gave my other one to my friend and its so weird it got a new leaf and it was SUPER small and really distorted. Im so glad mine didnt do that. @fearlessthereforepowerful

Cant wait for this #newleaf to unfurl! I love my #birdofparadise they are so easy to take care of I hardly have to water... And honestly they are tolerating the dark winter really well.
