It may do now but when the leaves are fully out I think it looks like something from a 1970 s episode of Dr Who 😱 @jacq1075 winter and spring are its best time 🙂

Melanie I'm sure it will get there one day it was a lot smaller when we got here 10 years ago but they are quite vigorous growers .. I prune the lower branches regularly so we can appreciate the twists 😊 @greenfinger14

Oh I love that great to see it as a tree I keep mine pruned but you don't get as good advantage of the twisted branches 👌😊

Just last year 👍 it must have been in around 15 years so it's a long time to wait 😱 get loads off the Hazel tree at the back of the garden though 🙂 @ukjohnny ceanothus sounds like a good swap 👍
