@phyl1978 for a while, leaf and flower buds look very similar. If they are flower buds, they will plump up early in the year, whereas leaf buds don't. A few of mine haven't/won't flower this spring for some reason, just leaf buds 😕

Thanks for advice @jeatacake may be just leaf buds then as plant is still young

This is the same as mine - is your called donation- mine was covered in flowers this year- lovely simple flowers- but mines a bit floppy

I've lost the tag for this, but only had it a few years & way more buds on it this year. Yours may need staking, as I have one which has the same problem! ☺ @sharonhayden

How many do you have??? 😮

9 or 10 I reckon, but 3 haven't flowered yet as some have no flower buds this year for some reason 🤔 @kez001uk

@jeatacake that’s a lot of camellias! And all so beautiful 😍 I had 2 that didn’t flower too. Very strange that some did but others don’t even have buds 🤔

Very frilly - and honestly Jeff 9 or 10 .....😳

I did hear that a lack of water in autumn, when the next year's flower buds are starting to form is often the reason 🤔 @kez001uk

Yes, very true. I was conscious of it last autumn but still have 2 or 3 without flowers this spring. I was probably only semi-conscious! 😏 @kez001uk

@jeatacake will just give you a few extra flowers to look forward to next spring 😉
