4 years of anticipation, love & care waiting for it to flower for the one & only time. Cosseted & mollycoddled & this is all I get from it! 😭

Better than mine Jeff. Winter destroyed it despite it being wrapped up 😭

Sorry to here that Julie. I thing you had some prolonged colder spells there than up here. This & the other (which still hasn't flowered) were well wrapped up in fleece & bubble wrap until last month. They looked like a pair of Egyptian mummies! now both look like they've been in a fight! I think it needs to be a few degrees warmer in winter, or else you get scratty tatty things like mine 😕 @vec

Yours might perk up with a bit of heat, don't lose the faith yet. I've bought another one and it's going in the new border which is a bit more protected

I won't give up just yet as I have at least another 20 plants ranging up to 3 years old. I'll do some experimenting with them over winter, ranging from being outside with no protection to full insulation outdoors, with some staying in the greenhouse. I also have lots of new self sown seedlings in the greenhouse, but thanks for the encouragement @vec 👍 😘
