On a visit to Conwy Castle today (24/5/2019), I discovered why wallflowers are so named!
Wow how cool 😍
They used to grow in the old stone wall opposite my Nana’s house, always fascinated me!
It was certainly a surprise to see them @joolzd1970
There were even some snap dragons growing out of the walls in one part. Welsh dragons 🏴 mind you @rachelbrooks

I think that’s my favourite castle, the setting is amazing 💛💛
I hadn't been there for maybe 30 years. Went to Caernarfon Castle last year. There are similarities, especially with the sea views & setting, but Conwy Castle just has that extra feel of the middle ages to it 👌 @pelly
