First garlic bulbs harvested. 😁
Yay and lovely colour 😍
They look great
Look great Nic
Thanks all. I ended up last year with lovely foliage which died down but only yielded bigger cloves -hadn’t formed into bulbs. I think the Rose garlic grew from cloves left in from last year! This year’s are the white ones and I’ve only pulled one so far. But 🤞🏻 they look good. @charlotte @jaynehynesburton @kimmy01 @gardengirlla

The harvest is in! Don’t know what happened to these as they started off so well. But only one has produced a proper bulb. But according to Google you can eat the others too 😃
That's better than I've ever managed mine have just sat there and looked at me!! 😂

Garlic progress update. Cloves still growing well including the little one at the back of the photo I rescued from the salad drawer a week ago and stuck in the soil!
Garlic cloves sprouting. Row on the left were planted with their tips showing. Row on the right had a light covering of soil. This row germinated first but the other row has now caught up. I reckon it doesn’t really make any difference how you plant them 👩‍🌾
I've given up with garlic. Grown it twice. Twice been disappointed. Shame as I cook with it all the time
Ooh lots of it too!! I love the stuff 😊😊❤❤
That’s a shame Charlotte. Is it getting a good period of cold over the winter? @charlotte
I grow it but we both have the I like it but it doesn’t like us problem 🥴@midnightgardener
@jendren oh dear that's a shame 😕
