Big rhodo full of flowers this year. Lovely now but a whole lot of mess in a few weeks time. Swings and roundabouts of gardening 💗. I love the purple azalea behind it which has grown into a tree to get light 💜

It is Angela. Coming on 40! We’ve trimmed branches off in the last few years. It was too big and blocked out the view from the house. But it seems to have forgiven us @italydiva

I love the effect lifting its canopy has had, the trunk and branches really add to the overall impact.

It is quite a talking piece. I hadn’t thought that we had lifted the canopy Angela. Makes me sound as if I know what I’m doing 🤣 @joannie.a @italydiva
