@jennlamaye pretty this is campis ratacans or orange trumpet vine @terrimclaughlin might be mistaken cuz tacoma stans is esperanza i saw the seed pod to these and are different from the esperanza

@hannahchristine my mistakes I just didn’t remember correctly if u googl: Tacoma stans/orange jubilee hybrid you’ll see that Bignoniaceae is the family, Tacoma is the genus, stans is the species and orange jubilee is a cultivar and so is Esperanza so I got it confused what I thought was a Tacoma stans was an orange jubilee hybrid of the genus and species

@jennlameye @Acetaker @hannahcristine none of us r professional horticulturalist but there are things we all learn but to me the most important thing is the beauty of the plant and even after a few years of school I made a mistake but isn’t it more about having fun gardening it’s nice to know about care and all but that’s all I can say about this plant once you learn the family you can learn more regarding genus species but there’s always cultivars Didn’t mean to cause a bunch of confusion

@hannahcristine your probably right I’m wrong to me it’s more about caring for the plant it’s just two person questioned the Tacoma stans which isn’t even a flower by itself it’s the genus and the species so I could be wrong and I’m sure your right you have a good night and this wasn’t personal and if it’s whatever you said that’s great

@Acetaker @jennlameye my sweet hannahcristine came through again I’m sorry that information I sent with the Esperanza and the what I thought was Tacoma stans got everyone confused I guess somehow I remembered the family and the name Tacoma stans so the orange flower is definitely an orange trumpet vine ladies so go there for any questions but it has good reviews it’s tuff so is the Esperanza now I’m probably going to dream about that damn word Tacoma stans lol. @hannahcristine we’re going to have to grow one or two and that’ll always make us laugh. Your the best the orange jubilee ie pretty but had to much yellow. Your dad got stuck in California he can’t pic up til tomorrow that’s when he’d be home tonight and go to yard tomorrow so he’ll be off this week maybe u can come and help me transplant my Palm I think that’s why my leaves are turning yellow
