Newbie to the app! Experienced gardener. The pictured plant, and an Acer were deposited into my garden most likely by a bird. I like it but don’t know what it is!
@Kathy Thank you Kathy! I have watched it grow over the last few weeks, quickly I might add. I love the flowers but I’m not to keen on invasive species.
Welcome to GT Juan 👋☺ I would pull it out, it's an offence to allow it to seed outside gardens. When replying if you put @ before their username they will be notified of your reply 👉 @kathy
Help me identify this plant

Himalayan Balsam, a real nightmare, invasive and fast growing!

@anne8691 the plant is contained, as I wanted to know what it was. Thanks for the welcome 👍🏽
They really are a pain, once the seeds set they are literally on springs and fly every which way😡
@anne8691 thanks for the suggestion and the hint for commenting. I’ll be taking a few more photos then it’s adios to the plant!
@kathy true! This one sprang up overnight really but I’m not fooled by a pretty flower...so it goes!
Great Juan👏🏻
