Just noticed my bottlebrush plant covered in new buds for next year

Not very good photo, but I was delighted with the growth on the plant.

Is that normal at this time of year, or is it due to the mild weather? Krishnahairdo

@jhthompson, i think its normal, i hope so anyway! I noticed mine started shooting about a month ago, and someone said new buds developing for next year. I did give it a hair cut a month or so before it started, just hope ive not wrecked it! 😏

Mine is a new plant. I was expecting it to take a while to establish, my father in law has one which is a slow grower

Yes i only got mine in april, ive heard of some that dont flower for years. @jhthompson
