Callistemon Citrinus 'Crimson'

Has anyone any idea why bottlebrush hasnt flowered please, feel disappointed as only had it 12 months 😏

Probably too cold!

I had one of these once but not for long ! They arent very easy but on saying that there is an enourmous one on the islad that is beautiful !

Morning pearl, maybe not right conditions, but il keep it, saw it growing profusly in turkey and australia, both hot places so maybe thats why @fuschia x

You need heat Kris , I have 2 in a hot spot in the garden and doing really well but I'm a lot further south so might be a little too cold up in Leicester 😠

@joanboston yes its in a pot close the the house so it didnt get to cold. I fed it a week ago and its really done it good!

The heat of the house should protect it I love them.

I have one of these as well, last year the frost had destroyed most of the buds so this winter was spent under fleece and mulch with hopefully better results...

Saw this in turkey in may just growing everywhere. I had never seen one here, came home went to garden centre and there it was.
