Nice stag's horn @jpea... I've got one down the bottom of the garden and every couple of weeks keep getting little baby trees emerging everywhere! ☺🌼

Great trees love the autumn colour 🏵🏵🏵

@amyb240288 have you ever grown one from a root cutting?
amyb240288
No, I haven't unfortunately so I couldn't give you any advice. I inherited it as it was here when I moved in!

Ah @amyb240288 the two I got and planted had relatively small amount of roots with the shoot so fingers crossed

Hopefully it'll grow into a fully grown tree 🌳☺

😂😂 probably for my grandchildren (if I'm ever so blessed) 😅
Morning folks on a non-rainy day yeay! Here's the #autumncolours on my stag horn tree that i grew from a tiny twig and which I'm still not sure what to do with
Wonderful colours Jeremy 🍁🍂
I do love these trees but they grow rampantly - keeping it in a pot is a good idea - how long did it take to get this big?
@sharonhayden its just over 16 months and I'm, like you concerned about the suckers it grows
That’s quick!
I’m a bit confused JP I’ve had mine for years and it’s never had suckers and I keep it’s size in check by pruning 🤔 @jpea Mine is called Tiger Eyes
@lovemygarden65 not sure if yours is a Rhus then as they're notorious for it Marilyn 🤔
@jpea I must just be lucky then JP 🤣 it’s definitely Rhus Tiger Eyes 👍
