A friend gave me a seed, which I planted about one year ago. 31 January 2019

@gjones. Thanks, it is starting to get new leaves now that we have more sun.

@cyndi, I will certainly take your advice into consideration! I have been told that it needs to be fertilized heavily. Since our sunlight hours are getting longer, I will be putting it in a bigger pot soon.

From seed?? Wow!

I have a tiny one growing from seed on my window sill. This gives me hope 👏🏼👏🏼

@misternatureboy Yes. It has taken much patience to watch it grow, and I will have to wait a few years for the fruit.

@valjones-hughes Good luck! I love the smell of the leaves when I rub my fingers on them.

That gives me hope for the #calamondin seeds I saved. I've yet to see if they're viable, though.

@misternatureboy If you want to avoid the mystery, I would carefully peel off the woody part of the seed, soak it in a wet paper towel and put it in a ziplock bag. The root should appear in a few weeks; that is when you should plant it.
