Hi, I'm a Complete #newbie to garden tags and also #beginner gardener. I have this #camellia and I'm not sure if it is suffering from #blight or #frostdamage. Some flowers look ok, but most look like the edges or the whole petal are going a pale yellowy brown. #help? x

The leaves look healthy which is a good sign, have you had cold weather since it flowered or a cold winds, that can affect the flowers. @karelisa
Hi Kathy. Thankyou so much for commenting. I thought I was a bit of a loner lol. It has been a bit chilly and I live in a very windy area. I have a few bamboos which look like the wind has dried out the leaves too. I've pruned the affected flowers and there's lots of buds waiting to flower. Maybe I should pop it in the shed til the winds die down a bit, do you think? @kathy
Think your right most likely cold winds
Have you got a more sheltered spot you could move it to? @katelisa
The wind is like a tornado in our garden - it blew off one of my baskets over the winter, bracket and all! Lol. So I'm not sure where it would be more protected but where I could still see it and enjoy it. I'll try and move it to a few different places and see where is best. I don't think it needs full sun does it? x @kathy @brumjulie1952gmail.com
No it doesn't @katelisa
I brought my #camellia into the conservatory, it seems to be doing much better now it's out of the hurricane winds in my garden. I also brought in my Black Lace camellia but that doesn't seem to like it as much so I've popped that back outside while it's not blowing a gale. 😆
