OMG!!! You still have this gorgeous poinsettia!? You are my hero Kerry!💘😍
The pink is amazing. It's so subtle
I can’t keep these alive for 3 weeks let alone 3 months Kerry 👏👏
Wow! It must still think it's Christmas! 👍🎅😀
Lovely colour 😊🙏🏼

Mine is rapidly dying. I should probably put I out it’s misery and put in garden bin!! 😂
@bluefox23 😂 my yellow one is in need of a bin too! Not sure what’s keeping this one looking so good 🤔 certainly nothing I’m doing 😂
What’s your secret Kerry....looks fab👌🏼
Still gorgeous!
@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom I’ve done absolutely nothing to it but it gets whatever sun there is so think that helps. Can’t believe it’s still looking the way it is 🤣
It’s in such great shape too...long may it go on...
@valjones-hughes thank you Val 😁 can’t say it’ll look as well next year but hoping it’ll still be alive 😂

It lasted a year but not a sign of colour. #poinsettia #houseplant
One of the reasons I never got one. I couldn't keep up with the requirements for getting them to 'rebloom.' However, yours looks healthy & #green is my favourite colour, so maybe I should go for it this year.
Put in a dark room like a closet
@novicegardenlover I like that 😂 green it is 😉 I’d read a few guides online but then saw on Instagram that some had theirs colour up without any of the faffing. Guess this one isn’t faffless 🙄😂
@kelsey92 I’ll try that next year, thank you 😊
Yep, a faffless one would be great 😁😁✔
Looks very healthy though. I had one for three years and lost it this summer due to a bad infestation of Sciarid flys on most of my house plants, the larvae ate away all the roots 😔 was going to try another one this year but need to save some pennies at the moment
@richard.spicer.7906 3 years??? That’s quite something! Did you get it to colour up each year? Those little soil flies are a pain in the backside but didn’t realise til recently how destructive the larvae are 🙈
No, didn’t bother trying to attempt the darkness thing, it was just too exhausting trying to think how to do it. I believe it just needs to go in a cupboard or dark room for at least 16 hours a day but if you turn the light on or open the cupboard door regularly it resets itself so unlikely to change. The local nursery in St Albans grows their own and I remember reading about it from them as they have have to keep the glasshouse completely dark from October between 4pm at night to 8am morn
@richard.spicer.7906 that’s so much work just to get a plant to flower 😜 I don’t blame you not bothering 😂 can see why they’re not kept much past new year 🤣
