There is always one bunch of pink bluebells in the front garden every year

I spent a large part of Saturday dividing mine. I have hundreds down my path. My new transplanted ones are rather saggy now 🤣

Hi Kimmy, I think they cross pollinate with the native creating hybrids which eventually kill out the native, of you did want to keep them maybe one thing you could do is make sure they don’t go to seed? Cut off flowers before they do. I’ve tried removing all of mine in the garden with the aim, that once eradicated I order lots of native bulbs :-)

Ohh I didn't know @Emma915Jones I normally cut the flowers off after anyway cos it looks messy but I can see how it would be a problem if in the wild or in gardens where people don't tend to. . :O its quiet sad isn't it reminds me of the red squeals

Oh @kimmy01 @brightcolours this will cheer you up after all your hard work digging up tree roots.
