@jilly yes but in the winter they are just sticks, leaves come then pretty little pink flowers then purple berries which the birds love, i dont love when they flyover and poop purple all over windows and car 😏

I have this plant too and yep def on its way. Me me goes mental each year and have to cut it back every autumn or it'd take over the garden 😂

@krishnahairdo That's what my hubby does for me (I can't reach now from the chair!) ...I read a good hard prune every few years does them good but Brian thought I'd made him kill them off...then low and behold little shoots appeared and they are as big as last year but looked healthier for taking right back I think 😊

Ive had this 3 years now, im a bit savage with it but it seems to like it! Wish i had a photo of the flowers there were lots this year. Never mind theres always next year!

I've just bought this elderberry for my new house (too big to bring from the old one)...try using the foliage with white cut flowers....stunning !!!!! :)

I bet it is @nettle! Yes theyve got some roots on them when they take hold! Enjoy !
