Think this is a #rhodedendron? Could be wrong. Was here before we bought the house but where we’d want to put the drive so it’ll need to go - has anyone had success with moving one that’s this established? The more I look the more I think it isn’t a Rhodehendron..
Hey Kyle, where have you been? Great to see a post from you again. I agree with Carol with regards moving your rhododendron. Lift it with a good root ball and keep it well watered for the first year until it’s well established. Good luck 👍
Hello @jacaranda! We’ve been renovating our house and done barely anything in the garden - anything in it was from the previous owners. Hoping to create some clad fences later this year to cover up the mess one of our neighbours have created by having outhouses right on the boundary line instead of fences...

I'd go with a rhododendron, think if you move with a good root ball and gave a prune at the same time you should be ok
