@latebloomer I got them when they were just little shoots about 5cm tall. Really hoping that one day they'll be nice tall trees to give my dogs some shade. Should just have purple flowers when they boom as far as I know.

Oh wow that sounds like they would have looked really nice. I didn't know they had different colours! It'll be at least another year before we'll be able to actually plant them out so hopefully we can just repot them into bigger pots as we go. We have an acre waiting for us so they should have plenty of space!

Their seeds keep sprouting long after tree has been cut down! In my case 20 + years!
