This is the first flower on this overwintered dahlia. First grown from seed 3 years ago.

Mine too. The foliage is all chewed up but the flowers seem to have escaped unscathed @Froggy45

The little feck#rs are munching my flowers too! Beer traps are in place, so fingers crossed they survive? I'll have to do a night search.

I never dug up this dahlia last autumn and it seems to have survived pretty well

I left mine outdoors too but we're a bit colder in the North East. Mine is almost definitely a goner 😰

I've overwintered 6 in pots Faigie and they're all doing well. The others in the garden are not showing as yet 😞

Thank you @pelly. I am going to try and overwinter them outside this time. The ones I dug up@last year all went soft except for one which started sprouting in late August. The one I missed digging up flowered best of all 😆

This must have overwintered in the ground somehow. It shot up during the past week. All the ones I sowed this year are much smaller
